Track the worldwide voyage of Hokule'a, a traditional Polynesian sailing canoe, and her crew as they circumnavigate the globe to promote cultural exchange and a sustainable future for our planet. We were lucky enough to spend some time with the crew on their stopover on St. John, and are proud to support their mission of Malama Honua, or caring together for our island earth.

Did you know that endangered sea turtles are hunted LEGALLY in the British Virgin Islands every year from December through March? We were shocked when we learned this, too!! So we decided to do something about it. Karl and Mary Anne began this campaign and petition to help raise awareness of the issue, and would be honored if you would join us in liking our Facebook page and adding your name to the petition.
Since the mid 1950s James Wharram has been on the forefront of boatbuilding, specializing in a reincarnation of traditional Polynesian double hull designs. Upon seeing our beloved Mahiya, he proclaimed her the best example of a Tiki 30 he'd ever seen. Yep, straight from the horse's mouth, Mahiya is quite something to behold. Learn more about the man, the myth, the legend, and his designs on this link.
The ACC is a vital part of the St. John community. They are a no-kill shelter and provide kennels for homeless dogs and cats. They could not operate without the support of volunteers and monetary support from the community. Please consider donating to this great organization, or adopting an island pet of your own!
